I hope it is better for you also devon. Also hope they can get rid of the hives & keep you from getting them again. I'm pretty sure that was a steroid shot they gave you in the elbow, that should make you feel better & help with the inflammation. Most likely it was prednisone or decadron./Lillian

I know exactly how you feel. I've been suffering with Urticaria (Hives) for nearly 2 years now. It turns out I am allergic to Wheat (not Gluten as one would think), Peanuts and Bermuda Grass (don't know what that one is). So I hope you can rest a bit easier now that you've had the needle in your arm. I reckon it might have been a cortisone injection because my Mum has had them. They hurt! I sure hope the shot helps and they can do something about the hives....the Dr. wanted to give me a shot in the neck but I have a reaction to predisone so they skip it....I will be praying for your healing....Gods blessing Janet
