I am looking for a program to edit embroidery patterns. Can you all help me decide which one to buy by telling me why you like the one you have?

I really like Embird. There are others, but this is my preference. I have the studio module that really lets you do even more, but with the base program you can resize, change colors, edit density and join designs and such. You can also make some small changes or corrections if needed. You can buy an alphabet to go with it and add lettering to any design too.

EMBIRD! Hands down the best program on the market, at the very best price. The basic program does sooooo much. You can of course convert desigsn, but also you can edit, fix, and resize designs. It is very user friendly and there are free tutorials you can download. I LOVE EMBIRD!

Thank you. I have been reading about Embird but seems like everyone is having trouble if they have Windows 7. What are you using?

Windows 7, the only problem is the iconizer doesn't work.....otherwise no problem.

iconizer is what makes the file show as a picture of the design when you click on it. Dusan (owner/programmer) is working on it though...
