carolyn you are sew smart I told my friends about the plastic tablecloth from the dollarstore to use for the backs when embroidering coasters & they love it & can't wait to try it out! Thank again

I did not see this post but I use clear plastic that is sold for covering tables, cut into half and quarter inch strips to keep my embroidery threads tidy. This plastic sticks to itself and when wrapped around spools of threads it keeps the threads from slippong off.
