Thanks, Carolyn, they are so cute in person...the bright colors against the black fabric are really dramatic!!

Very Cute! And well worth your efforts to stitch. You mentioned that you had trouble hooping/fixing it due to the small opening, but may I ask - How thick is the bag (with its 2 layers of fabrics and insulation)? Does it fit easily under the presser foot? Thanks for sharing your photo. It looks wonderful.

Yes, the thickness of the bag wasn't a problem, it was the small opening, it is a zipper closing and my headframe of my machine is so large that I had a hard time fitting it under the machine and pulling the top of the bag out of the way (I had it turned inside out). It is horrible even on the small 4x4...have to hold the top of the bag out of the way the whole time it is stitching...

That looks so cute! It's hard to get these bags under the machine but you've done well. Thank you for sharing

Vicky, it's lovely, both the design and the wording you put with it. Quite a job from what you told but great result!

It looks great Vicki. In similar circumstances if I had a bag like that which was tricky to embroider on, I'd embroider on a separate piece of matching or contrast fabric (enough to fold over to hide the back of the embroidery), then stitch it on as a pocket! Your persistence paid off.
