Alice how can you not like shopping for thread , and the crafts shop, i am sure there is something there that you NEED !!!! as for Ikea well :)

LOL-is it the shopping that you hate Alice or the total that shows up on the register when you finish shopping??? If it weren't for the fact that it all adds up so fast, it could be tons of fun! Hope you had a good time and got some neat stuff to add to the sewing room ~linda~

Thank you all for your encouragement. I still hate shopping, I went to Ikea got the drawer front replaced. then off to spotlight. NO WHITE EMBROIDERY THREAD. Then over to the hyperdome hoping for candle making supplies, not much there either. Driving home I got caught by a speed camera. Now I am really cranky because I have not had a speeding ticket for more than 11 years. My DH gets them all the time. Now I can't rub it in anymore. So now I will have a cup of tea and try to unwind.

I understand.I am not a shopaholic, but do love to go into my favotite places everynow and then. Hope you find a lot of bargains.

Oh Alice, a speeding ticket, bummer! Our son uses our other car and is an hour away from us, we got a ticket in the mail! Chastised him for it but we paid the $100 fine because he is still looking for a full time job.
I am like you, I love to go off by myself when I go shopping (instead of hubby sitting in the car waiting) but I go with a list, get in, get what I need and get out! I can be gone 4-6 hours but only because I hit every store I need to while I have the chance!

The only time I like to shop is when I'm buying something sewing related! I hate reg shopping but my dh likes it sew I make the list & away he goes!
