I have made them then gave them away as i hate tea but i always start my pattern with an old news paper cut a flat side & round one top or use the bottom of the paper .then i cut 4 pieces with batting in the middle .I put 4 lays & then quilt some of out lovely designs on it Good luck!!i am not much good at instructions sorry !! carolyn

Thanks. This is for a friend in Florida. The trouble is, the teapots are there and I wanted this to be a surprise. But come to think of it, I'll need the measurements of the pots so I guess I'll dump the surprise element.
