No embroidery here, but I couldn't do any stitching without these to help organise my threads. My DH made these holders for me, each holder holds five spools, and I have about 50 holders!!! They stand, long sides touching, on shelves above my machine, and my threads are stored by color. So all I have to do is slide the appropriate holders off the shelves and choose my colors - so easy. I also keep a few empties so that I can organise my threads for the current project. Isn't my DH just simply an absolute darling for making these for me?

Ruthie, welcome back we missed you over the Easter Holiday. I love your thread holders, they sure look handy looking and I think that your darling husband is extra special for making these for you. What a grand guy. Hehehe! *4U Shirlene

Well, bikermomfl, that makes your DH special too. It's good to be organised - pity I can't organise everything as easily as my threads!!! Hugs and a flower sweetie.

They look so nice and polished. Your DH must be an perfectionist. Could you send him over one day? Iam still catching up as you can see. Long holidays are lovely, but ..

Those are wonderful. And wonderful husband to make them for you too. OK, question, do my eyes deceive me, or do you have prewound bobbins of same thread with most of those spools? *4U and 4ur DH

Hey Ruthie, cannot wait to show my DH these, do you think he will get the hint? So many threads, need many spool holders. Nice to see ideas for the sewing room. Lovely.
