I have the golf bag, a glass of beer (Cooper's Ale was his favourite) a wheelbarrow (for his love of gardening) and with wonderful assistance from a dear Cutie I'm going to try and put up a picture on that fabric that you can put pictures on. Wish me luck!

Have you taken a look or done a search on Emblibrary? It sounds like you have some specific in mind - hope there is a design like what you want around. Your Mum will be so touched by this.

Yes, I've looked on EMBLIBRARY. I usually look on there first. It seems to cover about everything. Anyway, I found a perfect one from the company that POWAGRL suggested and I can't wait to stitch it out tomorrow.
Mum knows about the quilt as I talked this over with her as we were giving Dad's clothes away to the Op Shop we work at. I've kept his favourite red, black, and black and white shirts. Some black squares from a microfibre shirt is between each square. I want to put the embroideries of his favourite things in them. I.E. Golf bag, gardening, SCUBA diver, Cooper's Ale glass of beer, Billiards and his beloved Australian Rules Football. I hope it will turn out fine.
One of the dear cuties on here has helped me out with some special fabric that I can put Dad's face on. I am still to get that organised. I can't wait to see it all finished.
In the meantime, I've been commissioned to make 3 stoles for our new Deacon. I have to have the Purple one done by the end of March and also a White one for Easter. Love and blessings Chris
