some are so cute. I look at the price of some though and just think the pricing is way to high for a set. What do you think is to much, good price or what? look to see if I am just super cheap LOL

I love sales. Yes, I am frugal, but when I began collecting designs I did not know about Cute. I was spending hundreds on memberships. I now have too many designs to ever use in a lifetime, but still buy new ones now and then. But only on sale. And the bigger the discount, the happier I am.

guess I am the same just think some of these they say are on sale are still to high priced for me even though I love the design can not see spending so much on them.

I only buy when designs are on special or a very good price. I have more designs than I will ever use so I am now very picky.

the designs I was looking at were on sale but I think $30. or more is just to much, I can find more to do with my money than spending that much. I have purchased some for $15 I think that is the highest I have paid for a set. I am not talking about membership prices this is for only 1 set on sale, normal prices must be way to high for me to even look at LOL

I have way more designs than I'll ever use. I still purchase designs if they are a good price and I have a project for them in mind. I still have a tendancy to go to my free designs to stitch out because they are in categories that are easy to find, not by digitizer.

I do purchase some sets for projects but the prices on some are just way to much for me to justify the amount, when the design is costing more than the item I am doing. I love my free designs and use them all the time.

I was just working on my collection of designs this morning. I will never use all of them!!! My grandsons are getting too big for embroidery shirts. How I wished I had some girls in the family. But it is like a "sickness" I keep buying more and more. The designs are getting better and better.

yes I agree it is a sickness we just wont tell my husband he might try an intervention LOL I have just had a new GD and have one that is only a yr old, love having the little girls, I find it is so much easier to sew for them.

I hate to pay a lot for a design/set - and I like sales alot! So, how much is too much - I don't like to pay much over $5 for a design - although I have paid a bit more for something that I really loved and "just had to have" (and knew I would use). I just can't see paying $20 or $25 for something that I may only use once. I have a ton of designs (like most folks, more than I could sew in a lifetime) and there are lots of really nice things out there that are less expensive.

I know what you mean, I do want the quality of a good digitized design and I do realize that it does cost, but after it has been digitized and you sell it a few times it should make it's money to sell it so it is an unreasonable price I think would make it so you sell even less of it making it harder to get any money out of all the time you took to buy the artwork then digitize it. I am jsut saying I am not an expert or anything but I will not spend that much on a set just can't justify the expense

Sickness is a good word for it. I'm really sick! I can not pass up most free designs. But there are some that I just don't like and know I'll never use. I remember years and years ago when I was waiting for my machine to get here, I spent $45 for a set. Today? No way on the planet would I spend over $15. Smarter today and know there is more out there. If I don't buy the high priced one, somebody else will have it or something so close to it for less. I'm a sucker for Julia's $1 sets. Love that price. I belong to Nita's. But it's not as good as it used to be. May not stay long. Have belonged to a couple of other sites over time, but find it's just not worth it to me. Now that I have a couple of zillion designs! And why is it that I never have one to fit the reason I'm searching for one?! Really ticks me off. I like to get things and have a folder "Embroidery to do next" DUH, I only add to it, hardly ever OPEN it.

I have gotten better at passing up on some free designs, I do use a lot of them but some I look at and know I will never use, or the digitizing just doesn't look great to begin with. I have purchased some at an exspensive price as far as I am concerned but usually that is rare. I do agree Julies $1 sale is great I buy a lot of hers and the quality is there.
