I have seen the fun FC 9filet crochet?) designs and I was wondering if there is a special way these are stitched out? I have been anxious to try one. Are they like FSL? Thanks again!!

You treat them like an FSL by hooping 2 layers WSS (cloth type) and embroider. Have fun

Thanks for asking this question. I don't even know what this is so I am going to post a question about it. Dawn

What is the cloth type called. I have been using the clear plastic like and I find that it breaks or the bobbin thread gets tangled. Thanks for the answer!

I use Wash Away Fibrous and buy it from DBS: http://www.designsbysick.com/backings.php
its a fabric that washes away, looks more like a kind of interfacing, but its def not the plastic-y type, that type is more suitable as a topping for fabrics where the stitches might sink such as fleece or towels. I tried to do FSL on the plastic type and it failed miserably - what a mess.
