These little placemats are made like a coloring page. I made them out of muslin & the gks color them with crayons & then I use a pressing sheet & set them with the iron! Keeps them entertained with something fun to on MArch Break. I made about 5-6 sew far, a couple with bart & Homer Simpson too but the kids have taken them home! Early start as it's a snow day today!

Clever! I have the crayons-bought t shirts and then when they shrank in the wash, I returned them to the store and haven't replaced. This looks soooo interesting!

I do these up all the time, especially in the summertime, I prewash the muslin but NO FABRIC SOFTENER!

I have done this with flowers using bright colors they turn out great I like yours in cartons if you don't have a pressing sheet just turn them upside down on a paper towel and press turn the paper towel over and press again until no more color fades off.

What a wonderful idea! I'll make some for my grands - I've have the fabric crayons for years, time to use them in this fun way!
