This is the same method I used kids colored crayons and from the back side I pressed with a hot iron I used a paper towel not to get color on my iron cover

Draw you pattern off with a hard lead pencil ver light and color in with crayons and color very light where u want your shade or darker and you can outline in black perment marking pen or a runing stitch with needle and thread both look nice. be sure to set

Did this color crayon work in grade school and used wax paper to keep of sole plate of iron and on back of design. This is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

I simply colored on fabric with regular crayons keep them sharp by using a sharpener if you would like it to be more secure like paper you can iron freezer paper on the wrong side of the fabric peel it off after u are finished coloring and turn it over and press putting a paper towel under it keep the colors from getting on u iorn board cover.
