the state website it is listed as Wolverine/Great Lakes state so which one do I use. It is originally the Wolverine state and they are trying to get it known as the Great Lakes state........so what would you like me to put on it??????????? Vicki

Which will look better & is easier to do? I'd go with the wolverine as that's what I think of when I hear Michigan BUT I don't live there!

I would think that the wolverine is older therefore the correct one-but I could be wrong.

Wolverine is my vote - lived there long long time ago & always heard Wolverine State. Just my 2 cents.

Mi was known as the Wolverine state for many years but they are trying to get people to use Great Lakes State as it more accurately reflects the state today. There used to be a large native poppulation of wolverines but today hardly any. Today the only Wolverines are the Univ. of Mich. sports teams,students & alumni. As I am an alumni of The Other state university I would naturally choose Great Lakes State! Which everr you decide, thanks for doing them.
