Have a look at sands computing. they do all sorts for not a lot of money and you can try for a month I believe.I use sew cat from them to see designs. Know they are very helpful to help. You can also try Embird for a trial month by the look of it.

Sue.
I have this on my laptop and beleive me I go there each day to try and use it, but I am totally useless. Last night I cut and pasted the design I had open and then (by error) clicked on a button, that gave me an embroidery foot. It started showing me the stitch out. I was well impressed. Is there a manual or tutorails for this software anywhere. I would love to learn how to use it. What I really want to do it create names and short sentences to put on small items, but this is proving difficult. I know some members have packages where they just type whatever on their laptop keyboard, click design and the programme does it for them. Yes, I know this is not digitising, but with me it is one step at a time.
