I just wanted to show a picture of this beautiful fabric that I bought for 75% off! All of these flowera & leaves are already embroidered all over this black satin fabric! I thought it was just perfect for a fancy wrap. Sew that is what I have planned for this. I guess sewing on satin is slippery sew I must have to use........... what Tissue paper?

I think that I will make a wrap & maybe a matching bag. I have a few special do's this year, you know 2 weddings, 2 50th anniversary party's.Not sure how to sew on it though I will have to investigate further!thanks for peeking

This is lovely Loralye - I have never embroidered on satin before - but I wish you luck in making your fancy wrap.

Hi Loralye, for the wrap I would just do a rolled hem arount it. When making the bag you could use stabilizer on the back and remove it once you have stitched out each section. ( I have used the temporary spray on the wws stabilizer and then placed the lining and then more spray to place the satin fabric on the top, just a quick rinse after it is all stitched together. )

Hope this helps Hugs Yvonne
