Does anyone know what time it is in Australia right now. I'm in Arizona USA and it is 9:50pm. I got a Cutie out of bed last night. So just checking the time difference.

Of course! Is that 7.07 pm or am?
Thanks Dawn

Am that's why I wrote 7.07. Aplogiese but we use the 24 hour "system". So it will be about 21.00 in Arizona
by sewlikedawn 15 Mar 2011
We use the 12 hour system.

Because most of Australia is in Daylight Saving mode and Queensland didn't change to Daylight Saving. Lyn
by sewlikedawn 15 Mar 2011
Thank you! Now that makes sense! We don't do daylight savings time anymore. It stopped for some reasons when I was a child. So I don't remember why! Just that Arizona didn't need to have daylight savings time anymore.
Thanks Dawn

Western Australia dosn't have daylight saving either. We have more light for longer in the west as the sun doesn't set behind mountains

This year my body hasn't ajusted to daylight saving ,can't wait for the 1st Sunday in April for normal time to start.Only the sensible states don't do daylight saving.
Daylight saving time just gets longer & longer ,it use to finish at the beginning of March ,then the end of March & about 2yrs ago beginning of April.I want Queensland time ,its just as hot here as up there & it won't create another time zone.

There is nothing that gets me as confused as the time zones in relation to each other! That is unless it is the directions inside a building! I get all mixed up and turned around - almost dizzy just thinking about them! I have been lost in lots of hospitals and hotels! You tell me it's tomorrow in Australia, does that mean it is yesterday in South Africa? How close is Australia and S Africa, anyway? i'm going to get out my globe!

Something like that. Australia YESTERDAY, South Africa TODAY and the USA TOMORROW. We have a wonderful shrub here with purple and white little flowers called YEASTER, TODAY AND TOMORROW
