That will keep me quiet. Hoping to make a surround for a table cloth and it will take me for ages if I stick with it. If I have too many problems it might get the snip snip. Wish me luck. Lyn

I do wish you luck - my goodness - I would be buying prewound bobbies for a job that big. I hope you stick with it - whose design will you be using for this table cloth?

Not the same type of bobbin Shirlene. Finished of my other piece tonight. just have to sew the ends in. Tomorrow I will take a photo of a couple of my bobbins. Off to bed now as it is after midnight. L
Hmmmm, what is the difference? Please explain with the picture - OK?
I will take a photo of the piece I have just finished but haven't sewn the threads in yet and a few of my bobbins that I have to wind. Lyn

Good luck Lyn! I have never done it-but it is beautiful-it's kinda similar to tatted lace-which I never did either-that was my mom's love. Do you wind by hand or do you have a winder? If by hand-happy winding-good workout for the wrists lol. Keep us posted on your progress & don't snip snip-just do it to it! Have fun ~linda~

Thought this might be your work, Linda I haven't started yet but keeping those scissors handy. Have to wind by hand. Lyn
Tatting, you use a shuttle and not the bobbins, but I am hopeless at tatting. Lyn
LOL-not my work Lyn-I just saw this image somewhere and had to pass it on to you.
As for tatting-my mom used to do that and gave me all her shuttles and bobbins-she also used to do hairpin lace-she me all that stuff along with her steels-but I never got into it-I started out on worsted weight yarn so I really never got into working with crochet cotton-I am too impatient to see results I guess-
Good luck to you tho- linda
