My daughter asked me to make her a sage deer doorstop. The design is from Embroidery Library. I just made a generic shape to put it on. It is filled with plastic pellets. I was going to use rice with lavender, but I thought she might want to wash it every once in a while.

Great design and lovely doorstop - where did you get the plasitc pellets for this? I hope you are going to submit this to EL for their 'Stitcher's Showcase'.

http://www.crscraft.com/products/product.asp?V2=0&V3=0&V4=0&pid=20075&L1=0&L2=0&L3=0&L4=0&searchoffset=0 I had ordered a large quantity of these a couple of years ago. I keep it in a tub in my sewing area and use it for all sorts of projects. It was the best price I could find....two years ago, anyway. Thank-you for your compliments. I often submit my projects to EL when I have used one of their designs. That should be my nest step today.
Your local garden center(or Hobby Lobby) also carries pea size gravel.Just rinse, dry and add them to a sock, then sew top shut add to door stop, it's a great weight.
