Does your machine have a memory card or memory stick or some other system?

What kind of Machine do you have? Embird does not support the art format.

Unless, you have a machine with a USB port, where you can send designs directly to the machine, you will need reader/writer software to access your designs. I have a Brother machine, and I use the Vikant Ultimate Box reader/writer software to download designs to a chip. Then, the chip is inserted into the machine for me to be able to pull up the designs to stitch.
The Ultimate Box, basic Embird, and its Iconizer plug-in are all that I use with my machine to enjoy embroidery. I have not felt the need to purchase the Studio plug-in for digitizing yet, as there are so many beautiful designs available for sale and free.
Hope you get things figured out, or someone else can come along to help, if your question is relating to saving a digitized design. I can't help, if that is the question. Welcome to the Cute family!

Need to know what machine you have and then we might be able to help. And looks like you posted this at 5:30 am EST. You're either an early bird or what country are you in? Might make a difference.

Welcome to Cute!! It's my understanding that if you only have the Demo version of Embird, you cannot save the designs, except for the ones they provide to you in the demo.
If it's the demo designs you are trying to send, then you need either a USB cable, USB Stick, or memory card & reader of some sort, in order to transfer the designs to your machine.
If it's a design you created on your own, then you cannot save it, and therefore, cannot send it to your machine.
Perhaps someone else with Embird experience can offer more info for you, but this is my understanding of how the Trial version works. Good luck.

Cannot help, but I welcome you to Cuties. Perhaps you need to post the brand and model of your machine, it may help with your answer.

You got lots of good answers! Welcome to Cuties and this fantastic world of embroidery. I have embird I do not remember very well, but if things have not changed I was able to save my designs,of course this was about 6 years ago, I have a Brother 6500 and no USB so I have PED Basic to get my designs from the PC and send it to a chip which later go into a slot located at the right side of my machine. Welcome!!!!!
