How are you trying to transfer? I had to use a jumpdrive to copy/paste design; then put that in laptop and connect my machine to that-copy from my jumpdrive to my machine connection-select design at my machine; then open on the machine-hope this helps

Hi cookie, I see your question has been answered. There's only so much you can do with the demo, but oh so much with the entire program. I have had Embird for more than 3 yrs & still haven't scratched the surface of all that can be done. Our cutie Meg is the real Embird expert here. welcome to the Cute site. I think you need to convert your designs to the format that your machine takes. Embird should be able to convert the design to any format. Go to save as & and then it will give you all of the formats to convert.
