Sound like a fun day. My special treat every year for ST Patricks Day is.... my husband buys me a cornbeef sandwich. I tried to cook Cornbeef and Cabbage for him many year ago but he said he didn't like it ...and I said well I'll never cook this fine meal for you again (we were young) So now I get a sandwich every year. LOL

by gerryb 17 Mar 2011
Not sure. But I'll ask. Of course he flys into Dublin, but gets a car to go to different places. He was so excited they wanted him to go back.

Be sure and go to the castle and kiss the Blarney Stone. The only thing special we're doing is having Corned Beef and Cabbage with all the trimmings. Company is coming too will have a blast and lots of green drinks...lol. BTW...you might want to check out the stores while you're there and do some great shopping...when last there spent a fortune and had it shipped home.

Happy St. Patrick's Day Marley!!
We always do something to celebrate as my Grandfather was Irish!
My DH enjoys the different meals as his side of the family is Ukranian. We do have a varied cuisine...I love to cook so we celebrate many other ethnic cuisines also and their holidays. I love to do a Chinese New Year and we enjoy Thai, German,Italian,Greek.....no wonder I can't lose weight!! lol :-)
