I was told that a dryer sheet could remove the leftover glue from machine embroidery. Does anyone know how this works? Is the iron hot or cold?

The only use I have heard of is to clean your hoop of "gunk" that you rub a fresh dryer sheet around it several times. I don't use adhesive sprays so haven't had to try it but can't see what it would hurt.

that orange goop works better.Even if you don't use sprays hoops tend to get sticky.
