I use the bent pins also, and they are so much easier than regular pins. A flower for you

I don't use the bent ones, yet. But, my quilting friend's husband made us special "guiders" to catch the tip of the pin to bring it up to the front instead of poking our fingers... just a skrew of some sort in a dowl..kewl, I shall take a pic of it n post it.

No - you are not a dummy - just have grown and learned something new! I learned the hard way, when I had sewn a quilt for my grandson, and he asked me if i had a way to take the pin out - after I had quilted, and it was in stuck in the batting inside the quilt and it stuck him. Now that was a dummy! And it was a trail to try to get that pin out too! ***to U

no, you aren't. I bet you would be amazed at how many read your post that didn't know, so you are a teacher! ;)

You're not a dummy, bikermom, you just didn't know - there's a big difference. I prefer to use Clover Flower Head Pins, I like that they are longer, lie perfectly flat, easier to grip, easy to see, and I can iron over them. Hugs and a flower for you sweetie and have a fun day.
