How do you go about making lace with an added embroidery [like Marg's bunny bookmarks] Do you put some washaway stabilizer onto the lace, then do the extra embroidery? ie. monogram.

All I did was open the lace design in my programme PE Design then imported the bunny design onto the lace design. (made sure the lace bookmark design was the same width as bunny design). Hooped Ultra WSS then stitched out the design. Lace stitches first then the bunny design next. No need for extra WSS. Marg

Vicki, if you are wanting to put a monogram on your bookmark - you can do the work in your embroidery program - you bring the bookmark into the edit and layout and then the other design that you are going to be adding or use the program to generate the lettering. Save your work - then transer to your machine. Hope this helps.
