& today I had my gd to sew! Man I am exhausted! Kids are good grandkids are better but I am really glad they all get to go home! This is hard work! I finally sat down to watch tv with dh & do my own hand sewing when he said he felt like a cuppa sew I said I'll get it & I stood up to put my sewing down & realized that for the last hour I had sewn everything onto the sweather I was wearing! I could have cried! My dh said he would fix it & he took off my sweater & hung it on the back of a chair & said it will wait! Sew it will! One of those days!

I love to teach the kids my crafts, and I do know it takes a lot of effort, the reward is that (maybe) they get to take them up one day.
Our kids at least get to see how it is done! My Mom sewed, and cooked wonderfuly, even my brothers could sew on their own buttons and repair the sewing machines.
My DD and friends get together for a "crafty" day. They all think she is so lucky to have a clever Mom (me).
Happy Stitching!

thanks for that! I am the only one in my very large family that does this & pretty much anything craft oriented & yes my d bff said the very same thing on Tuesday! She thanked me many times & now she calls me AKA mom#2!

sounds like you have had a busy few days and now would be a good time to take a nice bubble bath and just watch a little tv or something that does not involve any brain power a little rest never hurts and you never know what inspiration might come from it
