hole and push it up into your machine, works great for broken needles too. You won't be dropping them into your machine. They cost around a dollar but worth it's weight in gold. Check your notions wall the next time you are in the fabric store

Do you have a picture of it or can you take one? I would love to see what you are talking about and how it works.

it is, like an extra hand. Very inexpensive.
Thank you for posting the picture! This makes it alot easier to find in the store. Hugs Dawn
You will wonder how you lived without it.

Try your local Bernina dealer. I got one with my overlocker.

Had one with my Bernina serger too, back in 1992, use it for my sewing machines all the time.
My Bernina overlocker1150 also comes with one. Interesting to note you CAN buy them. Will keep my eyes peeled as would love to have a spare.
lol there's one inside my Bernina overlocker too, but I didnt know it was for putting in needles, I only ever use the brush side (for dusting of course)...but why does it have that wedge shaped part at the hole end? I thought it was to help thread the underlooper but nope, it doesnt help, only the tweezers do. :) xXx
