Connie, welcome to the CUTE family. I don't have that memory card - but there are times - that I might not recognize that I have a file that is larger than my hoop and when I try to put it in the machine - the machine will not recognize it - could the design be outside the stitching lines of your largest hoop?

I have a 750D also with a PED Basic memory card and if the design is too big it won't load. I have found that if I hook my computer up to the computer and download the design on the machine and save it--it works best and I forget the card. They are very touchy. Also doesn't work well with Microsoft 7. I don't know if this helps you--had the same problem yesterday for a class I was going to take. You know that our hoop is not a true 5x7 and alot of those designs just dont' work.

Thanks, I'll try a smaller design and see what happens.

Thanks for that, I didn,t know that the hoop was not a true 5x7. So if I have problems I will know why. No problems yet.

mine will do that if the design is too big, change the hoop size and see it that works.

you can just blow in the card and sometimes that works. I had to email Brothers and they did say what bev told you. But they do get dust in them.
I too had to resize some of mine. They will only handle 4x4 and 5x7, even though it says 6x10 but it doesn't work. Think you just buy the 6x10 hoop from hooping so much. Good luck

our 750D will not use a 6x10 hoop. I only wish.

yea me too I have a 750D also. Are you having troubles with thread breaking. I saw that we can put thread in the freezer and it will help

no I use Poly X or it is now Exquisite Thread. I love it.

I would not suaggest blowing into the card unless using compressed air from a can

Thank you for the tip I do understand about maybe getting spit in it. but we use to do it to our old game machines. I need to buy a can of spray anyways for the keyboard.

I have been told by my dealer never to use a can of compressed air. It can really mess up a machine and its components or I would think the same for the memory card.

I had this problem once and had to do an update on the software at the Brother website.

I have a Brother SE-350 (very low end) and have had it and my Ped-Basic with card for 14 months without a problem. Hope your problem is solved. Cards are expensive and you can't do anything without them!
