My Mother had one many years ago she keep cloths pens in it when she use to hang clothe to dry on an old fashion clothes line out side. Neet looks nice

Thats what we still use it for! How do you dry u'r clothes?
Same here!
LOL-me too-or, I did. until we took the clothesline down- so now everything pretty much goes in the dryer. I do, however, have lines strung right here in my basement laundry/sewing/computer "Mom" room-and I do use them-mostly at night when I have gone upstairs for the night.
