I had a chance to finish a new purse design this weekend, despite being down with the flu on Friday & Saturday... :( I have had this one cut out for a week or so...just didn't know what direction I was going with it...because I could have done a thing or two different than what I did...however, I am loving it the way it ended up! :) Most of the ruffles you will recognize from another project...they were left over scraps...and the black fabric came from a nice, lightweight denim skirt I purchased at Goodwill, which will give me plenty of fabric for a few more purses! Bonus!! The front and back are identical....a nice, deep, pocket under all those ruffles for your cell, bills...or whatever you need to stick someplace...fast! I love this design...was actually quite simple to do, so there might be a few more in the future!
