Now my stepson and his wife who have been married 14 years are 5 weeks pregnant. All I can think of is all of those beautiful baby designs that I have passed up over the years.

Oh, I started out not getting baby ones since I have been told that I won't be a grandma and neither of my brothers have kids but soon after I saw so many cute ones that I started collecting them too for "just in case", lol! And look how much advance warning you have to start your projects!

Don't worry Lyn, there are still plenty of baby design out there. I am going to do some baby things and put them in my "Hope Chest". Hope one day my almost 32 year old daughter will have kids. Your stepson could call the baby Ada (A damn accident) or Amy (after many years) Haahaahaa. Marg

Kids designs are the cutest anyway. Applique is hot right now. Planet applique. Embroidery-boutique, appliqueforkids etc. All have freebies.

That is great news. Congratulations. I'm sure you will still find plenty of cute baby designs. This is what I always say to my son, when he asks Mom why have you got so many designs "Well I never know when I will need one of them"

You'll have such fun collecting wonderful designs. I do work for our local hospital and the collection I have is HUGE! Be sure to check JuJu designs. I have used their tiny designs on jackets and sleepers. Have fun!

How exciting. My son and his wife of 36 are due to have their first early next month. Already have two from my other son. This gran is so blessed. Enjoy the baby designs, I am still doing todllers ones now.

Wow! All I can say is "Are you ever going to enjoy yourself!" Grandkids are so much nicer - you get to spoil - oops, sorry, LOVE them - and then give them back! And so much fun to make all kinds of things for them and have them think you can do ANYTHING! Congratulations and have fun searching for designs - I'm sure you'll find lots.

I'm so happy for you, Lyn, that you have this new and delightful prospect ahead of you. There are still so many baby designs here on Cute Embroidery and Amazing Embroidery Designs that you'll have a big job deciding which ones to use. There are designs for little ones everywhere, like heirloom ones and cute animals. You're going to have a lot of fun choosing and making things.
