My tip for today. Don't put a wet cloth down on top of a roll of solvy. hehehe.

A glass of ice tea doesn't work either!

I don't imagine it would, but it would have gone down well here today, it is so hot!

Yes, fortunately only a little of it stuck together.

And make sure you don't leave any on your sewing desk, near a window that leaks during torrential rain!!!!!!!!

Meg I would be more worried about my machines in that case.
No the machine was back far enough thankfully. I was up at Possum Lodge at the time and got home to a huge mess. All the packing boxes and anything else that was on the floor was standing in an inch of muddy water!!! thankfully my main WSS was in the loungeroom.

Oh my, sounds like lots of lost wss! So far I have only managed to get enough water on a folded piece to have a small hole and all the folds melted together.

It wasn't to bad, I just thought I was a great big klutz and it was funny. Apparently I am not the only Klutz and that is even funnier.

Whatever you can't salvage you could add water and make a spray starch so it don't go to waste.

Most of it is fine, just a bit stuck together through a few layers. still salvageable.

Sounds like you might have learned a valuable lesson& thanks for passing it along to us cuties.:~D

The lesson I learned was to be more organised and keep my work area tidier. Implementing the lesson..... We'll see.

Also don't buy a full bolt (that's not plastic wrapped) and carry it to your car when it's rainning. What a mess and that 40% off coupon could have been used for something else.

Yep that sounds like fun.

LOL, also don't sneeze on your project with solvy on top while embroidering!

That sounds like a double disaster.

Oh Alice, solvy is not good at the best of times in brissy due to the humidity...and as today was 90+ humidity it seems to just dissolve...I keep mine in a ziplock bag to avoid the extremes of weather. I have been using the vilene because of the humidity even that goes very limp...Hugs Sally

Try keeping it in the fridge Sally.
