This is probably an old tip for all you veteran sewers but use a pipe cleaner to clean your machine. It will get into areas on your machine you didn't know was there. Better than a can of air.

sounds like a really good idea. From what I've been told the canned air is a no no - it pushes the lint etc into areas you can't reach to clean and therefore it'll spend more time in the shop.....

Amen! And there is moisture in that can that is horrible for our machines. Just spray your finger and sees what happens
