They will I am sure Yoriko. He has his Phd in Botany & teaches at West Alabama University. his wife Tracy is a biologist

I told hime to take lots & lots of pictures of everything of they see. I can't wait to see them. This will always be a memorable event for them I am sure.
Well then we shall roll out the red carpet. I'll keep an eye out for him in Sydnet :))

It is a wonderful opportunity for them & oh how I wish I could come along. I have always wanted to see Australia. I do not know their exact itenerary but know they will be in Melbourn & Sydney & in the outback. He doesn't know where all they will be taking him in the field./Lillian

It seems we are all keen to know which part of Australia they will be coming to. How long will they be here? I am sure they will love it, it is the best country in the world. Well it would be if our politicians would grow up :)

Hi Lillian, we are farmers and have had lots of 'summer/autumn' rains that have brought up many weeds. Perhaps he'll come to Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. We will know him because he'll have embroidered shirts???

LOL on the embroidey. He doesn't have a single one. I think the plant is probably what you would call a weed. But he will be telling them what it is I am sure. He has discovered & named several new species of plants.

I think what Australia is wanting him to do is identify the plant & tell them what it is. When I am told by him what the plant is I'll let you know & where it is growing.
