I love playing with different desgns and materials when working on a bag. I developed this idea several years ago and love to give it to a bride to be as a shower gift for her wedding day. I add a few things she might need like a band aid and pins. To make it, I use ribbon, matching the bride's colors when possible. I weave the ribbon to make a mat. I do not join the edges because I like the 3D efect. I then sew the mat to the bag. On the other side I embroider the Bride and groom's names and wedding date and add a bow . I did add a bow I tied but now I embroider one in their colors, of course. I think it can be used for so many things including baby gifts. Hope the idea is useful for you folks to use.
