I made these coasters from quilted fabric. Sun design from Emblibrary. I found the applique circle in my folder labeled Sue Box but I didn't see it on their site today, it had a nice wide outer stitch. They have a backing of the same fabric (could be made double sided if you wanted) and then I covered the top with iron on vinyl.

Very nice work - I don't think I have ever seen the iron on vinyl and especially used on a coaster - it makes sense to use it this way.

Very well done, I do not very well understand "iron on vinyl", because vinyl will be dommaged, but i think that this cover is for the water?
