Well I finally like the measurements for this one. It is probably the 5th or 6th one but I think the size is just right, for those who previously asked they are middle pc is 6-1/2x12" top & bottom sashing should be 2-1/2X6-1/2", & the sides are 2-1/2 X 16". Finished size will be 10" X 16"

Hi thanks for the measurements. I bought some single towelling diapers for newborn. Size 24 x 24. Cut them in half (12 x 24) padded the centre with a strip of towelling and backed it with flannel cut large enough to be folded forward as a "binding". End result the burpie is 11 x 22 (how it got smaller don't know!!) Hugs and*****

that sounds good too but I don't know 22 sounds long? where does it sit on your back is 22 a better length?

I always wanted to make a burpie like this and is considering it seriously now that there is a baby on his way in our family. I am going to use ur sizes. Well done
