It is different but it looks great - I just love gingham. Lyn - please tell me what the stitch is round the edge?

I keep using the edge from the pattern from the Artistic Design pattern. It stitched like a double backstitch so it is easy when you have to sew the edges together. Plus it has a bump on the corners and the middle. Makes it easy to line up. Must look to see if my machine has that type of stitch on it.

The design gets a bit lost on the gingham, but it's still nice! Are we ever going to make square pincushions after this? :)

Yes I agree, Think it would have been better with a more dense design or a different colour. Never mind I have more fabric. I can't stick pins in my Biscornu so I will always use an ordinary pincushion. Lyn

It looks nice - but if the stitching would have been a contasting color - it would have been nicer - in my humble opinion.

Oh, I like the orange gingham - possibly a darker ornage contrasting would make it pop. But, you got us all started on these. So, do we call you the Biscornu Queen?
