Hi Carolyn, I don't know that much about computers too, and get kicked off many times also. And it's irritating and frustrating, yes! The only explanation i can give , is there are more people than possible who want to visit the site at the same time.and I do have to agree: it's my favorite site too. So we keep on trying. hugs Gerry

I wrote to Veronika on Wednesday telling her of our frustration. I suspect the same as Gerry there are now so many of us wanting to get on. Maybe Veronika's server needs to be enlarged or whatever it is they do to make things more accessible.
There was no harm in asking anyway and I hope something can be done, I know in frustration I just shut down and go to another site. Love and blessings Chris

it's funny too, because the other 2 sites are fine-guess maybe because there isn't as much to do on them-especially because it's basically a re-run week on Alphabet-jeepers, I can't believe how many people requested votes for missed letters-I don't think I have ever seen a do over like this since I joined back in June.

My best guess would be to chose a different time to try and get into the site. I've changed mine a couple of times to keep from being timed off....yes it is frustrating but we brag so much about our site and everyone is checking us out now, so we kind of shot ourselves in the foot so to speak. Perhaps Miss Vernonika has a solution.

It seems a be better this morning. Maybe the Web Master (or whatever they are called) is doing some upgrading or work on the site. Anyway yesterday it gave me the opportunity to get outside and do some overdue gardening. Marg

So glad that you asked this. I thought it was our computer,but DH said it was good (he checks it,does updates,defrags etc.). It is so frustrating,if I leave a comment it takes forever,and then forever to get back where I was...then another forever to give a flower! I guess we are just too popular here!

Carolyn, not a dumb question! It's happening to everyone, the site is just so over loaded with all us cuties. I like how Lee, said it, click on the flower and watch it turning, turning turning. It is frustrating but I just go elsewhere for awhile or go get the laundry out of the dryer that I had forgotten about! Carol

Yep I think definitely too many people here. I often just don't even have time to give flowers anymore because it can be so slow. but the truth is it is every webmasters dream to have "server crushing traffic" I wish it was happening to my website. lol. But I do agree it is frustrating.

I don't know and I'm a computer duh, also! LOL I do know it's been an on going thing for much too long. That's one of the big reasons I don't comment, but do try to give flowers in projects and tips. It is very frustrating for sure!

I've had the same problems the last few weeks using IE. I downloaded Firefox last week and it's sooooo much better now. No problems with pages loading, and no getting "kicked off".

Carolyn, must be kind of a traffic jam, happens to me when I log in round about 17h MEZ. No jam in the morning hours. So I guess the bunch is right, to many cutes at the same time trying to reach the poor little server.
