I look just like the picture that goes with Cute. I find it confusing as I remember a face/avatar then people go for a upgrade and I get quite confused

I don't look anything like my little kitty. It really helps me remember when I've read someone's post before if I can link a photo, in my mind. Didn't you say you have a kitty named asterix? How about him/her? I do get confused too. My phone ringtone is "If I only had a brain" he he

I agree that it also confuse me when people change their avatars. Meganne and Terre does this from time to time and I'm always need some days to recognise if they are posting cause I watch first on the pics.

In the beginning I had the 'Cute" avatar then I DL my picture. I have found it sooooo much easier to identify my own posts . After you DL the new avatar all your previous posts will have the new avatar. I look nothing like the 'teeny bopper' avatar that Cute have on here. Marg

the real picture is always nicer Marg-this way it's kind of like we are all face to face and we can actually put a face to a name and talent. And you look like a "mature" teeny bopper and there's not a darn thing wrong with that lol-my teeny bopper yrs are long gone =O)
I took an old pic of my kids so I have the "future teeny boppers" ;o)

LOL-Bev-yer a hoot!! Just go for it lady,we'll look past the no makeup and gray roots-as for the 30 lbs-who cares-I have the extra 30 also, but that happened after I quit smoking 13yrs ago, started the many stages of menopause, a kick in the butt major surgery(lost that 30 lbs-and gained it right back after the healing process). The avatar that is used by me & others is great, once I looked like her many years ago .Maybe that is why she so widely used.

sometime it just takes a little time to get visable, that what happend to me yesterday, long way frome here to cute. Or parhaps the pic was to big, the size is given on the uploadpage, check and try again.

I'm so happy you have joined "US" It took me some time, too to feel like I was a Cutie. I don't think of myself as Cute. But, then one day it happened. I don't know why or how, but I think it was when someone offered a kind word and someone else did too. I felt accepted and a part of the group. Maybe it was when I realized that these people were just like me, in so many ways. Ladies who love to sew and embroider, but who love their families, lead REAL lives and who have an extra measure of love to share. I'm glad you are "feelin' the Love" too, Sue. Jan

Everyone knows my ugly moosh, that's why I use Betty Boop (boob for me since the double mastectomy and reconstruction. LOL!!!)
Besides, sometimes GK's watch their Grans while they are on Cute and the kiddies love to see all the animated gifs members use for their avatars.
I also like to change mine depending on the special occasion, it's fun!
But I agree I look for the avatars and it takes a while for it to register with me when someone changes their av.

It is very recent February 17th of me with my youngest Granddaughter, Amelia, at her first birthday party. Isn't she just gorgeous!<br />Now no guarantees this will be permanent as I don't like looking at my own moosh!!! hahahahahaha!!!
