drawstring top. Usually fabric with pockets on the outside divided into about 4 sections. The centre is normally made of towelling and the gathered with a drawstring.

Very good question. What are they called? I do not speak french. They show of the emb. designs so nice, I like them too.

Yes, there is a free tutorial to download -- go to http://www.sewforum.com -- you will need to join, which is free, is case you do not all ready belong.

Thank you, so much. I have looked at them many times and have thought how easy they would be, to make. Unfortunately my brain doesn't seem to want to work things out easily, any more. So much easier, to be shown what to do. Thank you, again. Lyn

I tried to join sewform and it said that my e-mail was already in use, but don't know what my username was to get into my account. I too would love to make some of these bags for my Grandchildrens gym bags for school. Can anyone help?
