Not a question. I read from one of the cuties that you could not use metallic thread on a Brother. I contacted Brother three days ago and they haven't even answered me. Makes me so mad!!!!

Brother MAKES metallic thread so it wouldn't make sense that their machines couldn't use it?

I know but a couple of days ago a "Cutie" claimed that brother said they shouldn't use it but they haven't answered me yet for a confirmation.

I have never in the eight years or so I have been
machine embroidering heard such. I have a Brother machine and use metallic threads occasionally. Not one of my favorite threads, as it seems to twist and break easily, but, I cannot believe Brother would disapprove of its use in their machines.

Brother Machine and Metallic Threads!!! I read in an embroidery blog Metallic Threads can damage the thread guide and the bobbin case in Brother machine, this lady contacted Brother .

Brother responded, yes, metallic threads are not good for Brother embroidery machine, the use of them can damage the machine!!!!!

Did you know that? I did not!!!!
