he seldom airs his views
but sits and listens silently to all of the grim news.
And if he comes to tell me
that's when all hell breaks loose

I am not joking when I say she is talking about my husband. thankfully i mostly switch off when he gets going, but sometime my feminine disposition has me wanting to throw things at him. lol.
Alice...get one of those soft TV bricks that were sold in the late 60's. They were like a sponge and you could throw them at the TV when something came on that you didn't like.......You could use that on him and it wouldn't leave a mark....LOL!
