In between country ornaments and knitting today, I made this sample to use at my shows this fall to advertise for digitizing peoples pets for them. Hopefully it will drum up local business from the show traffic. This will be the first time I have this to show and I think it is a good demo...what do you think?

I think it will be a big seller. You know how much people love their furry kids. Do you also do cats? I'm sure your Sammy will model for you.

I did one of our females, Graycie, but I haven't stitched her out yet...I did a calico for a customer a few months ago and it was cool......

This looks great. Job well done. I'm jealous that you can digitize your own pet.

Make sure you charge enough and keep in mind that we spend more on our pets than we do on ourselves. Kay

I know, Kay......as I said to Martine, this is my weakness, I am getting better and starting to charge what it's worth, but I still have problems thinking people will pay what it is worth...

Vicki - you know already what I think. I really hope that this gives you heaps of business. The likeness you get with your dogs is truly amazing. I wish you all the luck in the world. Love Sarah.

I think it's a very good example of what you can do and it should attract attention and hopefully result in a lot of business. Make sure you charge enough for the time spent digitising and the cost of the embroidery too. If people want something unique and custom made they know it won't come cheap.

This is a beautiful example of your work, Vicki. You might also want to consider putting a sample in boarding kennels, vet offices and groomers. I friend of mine is making money hand over fist by sewing up very simple kerchiefs for dogs! People love spending on their pets even during tough times.... good luck to you.

What great ideas!! I need someone to market for me....I don't have enough "moksie" to go to places and sell myself......a shame, isn't it?
