Sewdeb - I checked all over and can't find the design ... yet. I'll keep looking though as I wander thru Cyberspace.

I did find the fabric at fabric.com. Maybe you could use the fabric to make him a shirt??

If the link doesn't work, go to fabric.com and search on the very hungry caterpillar

If I find anything else, I'll post it. Otherwise HTH

This is not THE hungry caterpillar, but probably would pass. You will have to scroll down to about the 3rd or 4th design and there is the caterpillar eating a leaf.;)

I think this also one of the licensed/ copyrighted designs like the little prince from Saint-Exupery that I never found as embroidery-design.
Same with Pippi Langstrumpf from Astrid Lindgren. Their heirs was asked from 2 different german digitizers for a license and they prohibit to make embroidery-designs with Pippi (so I'm always surprised when I see the Bibbi-design at Artistic Designs/OregonPatchwork).
Maybe the nice caterpillar-alpha from CuteAlphabets will help a little bit?

Oh, wow, that's a great idea! I'm sure I can work something out using this. Maybe a name door hanger, quilt, etc. Thanks so much!

Found some at Etsy but still think it is a problem cause it is a licensed design so please be careful!
Sweetpeasplace has at their own shop many licensed designs (can't say anything about the quality but the pics didn't look really great) so I don't think they could sell all these for 3,-$ when they had bought licenses from disney, sanrio and so on.
"My SewCuteBoutique" has the sentence under the caterpillar that this design is copyright-protected by her! Hoo, that is really taff...

Thanks so much for all your research I certainly don't want to use an unlicensed design.
