I have some in the hoop baby bibs but they are larger than my hoop size, 5x7,

I would like to know if spliting the bib is possible, they all have a finished scallop design.

I'm not Meganne, but I do all my digitising in Embird and use the basic module on a daily basis as well. So here goes.

There are two ways to do it, automatically or by hand.

1. In Editor, select your design, go to 'Edit' in the top bar and choose 'Auto-split', now you get a menu where you can set the desired hoop size (say 100x100 if you have your measurements set to metric, else 4x4) and your design is automatically split.

2. You can split manually after choosing 'Split' instead of 'Auto-split'.You have two choices now. One of them is by using the lasso-tool. This gives you the freedom to choose where the split will occur - make sure you split between two scallops.

Click help, contents, edit menu, and you can look up auto-split as well as 'Split' - both methods are given.

It's easy to do. Success.
