This is a made-in-the-hoop design. It is made of felt, the white bits is cotton and applique on then cut out when finished. The dish cloth is them cut in half, overlocked then pleated and velco stitched on and the other half is stitched onto the holder. It has a loop on the top and a button at the back.

bigdee, this is so cute - who is the designer and what size hoop did you stitch this in-the-hoop design? Great job, I love it. *4U

thank you shirlene, the designer is Eurika of bestembroidery. Go first to
www.embroiderysa.co.za then bestembroidery.
Now it doesn't look like this design is still available. But email her and ask. She did a workshop in CT just over a year ago, with this design. It is done in the 5x7 hoop

Now this is one of the cutest I have seen. Gr8 idea with the velcro too. Did you put the loop part on the towel so It wouldn't catch everything in the wash? I was also wondering size hoop. I would love to find one I can do in my 4x4. *4U

Yes Joanie , I to would love to find one in 4x4 also.

Thank you, The loop is then fastened to a button sewn onto the back. This design is for a 5x7 hoop and is too big for the 4x4. I had seperated the hoop from the design but it was still a bit big.
