No, don't feel silly. I'm still learning this site. Not that it's difficult. It's just you get in the projects area and the community area and before you know it hours have gone by. No real time to chk out everything else. One day I will though.

Don't feel stupid, it takes everyone a while to find there way all over this site. I still forget to look at the freebies tab, go figure that one out! Why I can't remember to look for free designs is beyond me! Welcome to the addiction!

Be patient with yourself. There is so much packed into this site that you can't learn everything right away. I still have trouble responding to PMs.

Your doing better than I did when I first joined Cute. It took me 2 months to notice that I had private messages.
