On this machine, the biggest is 14"x6", I have not seen the size 6x8" repertoried in the list of the hoop of the brand. I have for my designer1 two great hoops: 14"x6" and 9.5"x6", and one smaller 4x4, I can do many works with them.

This should work for your machine.

i find on mine the big hoop i just keep moving down from the top and i can use any size carolyn

I've also got the designer 1 (love it) and as far as I know you better stick with the husqvarna hoops. I have added the 5 x 7 to my stash along with the mini hoop. I think there must be something in the clamp part that makes the machine recognize what size the hoop is, it always seems to know. Good luck and maybe ask your dealer if you can use this hoop before you try in case it messes up the computer part of the machine (don't you just love computers) good luck and keep us posted....

I also have the D1 and I would only use Husqvarne hoops as mentioned before as they are made for the Machine.would worry me, that a different one could ruin your machine
