This was done for the organization called Project Linus. We had a chapter where I worked. This is one of many done for that. The designs came from Viking, Embroidery Exchange and various others. I really liked the backing.

dlonna, you have been holding out on us. Hehehe! This is a wonderful quilt - so sweet of you to do this work. What a great job. *4U FYI, I can't get into the alpah quilt - can you check and make sure the picture isn't too large or something else - so that I can view it, too! Shirlene

Thanks. The border pieces has stars. The backing is a printed patch/piece design. One of those squares had stars also but you can't see it with the small corner that was turned up.

I have heard of Project Linus and did a couple with a quilt group yrs ago.... but we didn't embroider our blocks like this. This is spectacular. I love the colorful backing too :) *4U all that did it.

What a WONDERFUL quilt. Some child will truly love and appreciate this. I have made Project Linus quilts, and the shop I work at sews on all the labels. We had over 200 this year!
