power lines and it is still pouring rain. We were free of tornado warnings/watches for about 45 min and now we have them again-just said it should clear out late tonight and have beautiful day tomorrow-my fingers are crossed!

We Floridan's are a tough breed - we will work through this. Trees down and homes damaged all across the central portion of the state. My daughter has had no power since 6:00 PM Wednesdy. She is on the East Coast. We needed the rains, and still need more, butnot that nasty winds and funnel clouds that came along with it.

Having lived in tornado alley-Texas most of my life and also spent 3 yrs in Florida i know how bad the weather can get especially in the springtime. Listen to the warnings and stay safe

Talked to my sister in Orlando and she has a lot of debris to clean up and will be having someone fix the damage to her roof. Was cooking a bunch of food up since the power was out for a while and she don't want it to waste. Otherwise her neighborhood didn't have too much damage.

My sweetie decided not to go the "Fun in Sun" at Lakeland this year at the last minute. I called him when I heard of the injuries there due to a terrific hail storm to see if any of his friends were there. Can you imagine the guys fly in from all over the states and them have their planes beaten up with hail!! Hope you all are safe and no damage. I had a tornado come through my subdivision when I lived in Lilburn, GA. Before it happened my dogs started crying a mournful sound and came to get in bed with me. I think animals have a six sense of danger. It was a terrible sound and I lost ten or 12 trees in my yard, but I was not hurt.
